Honestly I was a little skeptical about purchasing a laptop with a 3060 instead of one with a 3070, but I am honestly completely happy with the performance of this laptop. It performs well under good loads and keeps relatively high frame rates. I was looking for affordable with enough storage and power to handle the career path I've chosen. It does all and then some. Stays cool under load, so much so you could probably cool yourself off with the wind from the exhaust ports.

Now the cons, and I really only have one. When turning the fan speed up, they are rather loud. Not loud enough to drown out music or anything but noticeable to be questionable. I know it's how it's supposed to be but man can they create some sound.

When it comes to gaming hardware it's really specific. The one I got has a 3060 GPU, i7 11th gen CPU, and 16 GB RAM which I later upgraded to 32. For me it handles everything fine it's plays games no problem at specific graphics settings. Obviously I can't go crazy and play games with super high graphics but not low graphics either. If you're a casual gamer and want playable performance with decent graphics but don't want to spend a bunch of money on a full on gaming setup this is a good pick, it looks good it handles itself and the 17 inch display is great.

Mostly I use this laptop for work and playing MMORPGs. It handles the rendering that is needed as well as our internet can handle the traffic speed (rural, long-range wifi) and doesn't seem to heat up excessively. There is enough storage for my work and temporary placement of photos and videos until I get them to the backup drives.

It is very quiet to operate, except if you have the fan on high. The keys on the keyboard have just enough resistance and 'pop' for me to be aware of key presses, and not enough to cause fatigue for long periods of typing. They don't click, but they're not silent, either.

I wish it had a DVD drive, but none of the laptops do anymore, and I'm aware that I can get an external DVD drive to attach. There are enough attachment ports for decent use. One holds a wireless mouse, one holds the power for the cooler, and another is open for backups, drives, or card readers (although it has a built-in SD card reader).
